A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of attending and participating Nini Palooza a Family Day Event; where vendors and children centered activities come together to raise money for an organization while giving families a day to enjoy.

This year we were delighted to participate as a vendor where we brought one of our most popular Fall Dessert Table’s: Apple of Our Eye. Although the day was super windy for a dessert table it was a perfect day for this event! And if I may, I’m extremely surprised at my ability to get some of these shots. I am not a photographer. THANK YOU NATURAL LIGHT!!!

Here you see the full table. What you don’t see is our red wagon we decorated with mums, apples, pinwheels, etc staged to the right of the desserts and to the left was our business table with our portfolio and product on display.  Since each vendor only had a small space to work with (small for my typical 8-10 feet tables) I opted to style a 4 foot table and use mini desserts.

For the decor you see on the table, as I mentioned this is one of our most popular tables to style in September/October,  I always have hay stacks, burlap, gingham ribbon, red straws, etc in stock. The printables (banner, table tents, toppers, water bottle labels, and signs) are a spin off my current printables in my shop. The colors can be customized to meet the needs of each party.

These apple cookies were a last minute decision and I absolutely love that they made it on the table. I walked in to Triolo’s Bakery, in Bedford, NH a few days before Nini Palooza to chat with them about an order I had placed for a future event and I had seen these cookies in a basket at one of their display tables. I was very tempted to snatch them up then, but I had wanted to try to go with out cookies.  Like many of my decisions are made I said,  “I’ll see if they are here on Friday ( the event is on Saturday) when I swing back again.”  You see, I believe that everything happens for a reason and if something is meant to be, it will be. So when I went back on Friday and the cookies were still there (minus one) I knew they were meant to be on this table!

I highly recommend Triolo’s Bakery! Not only do they make yummy treats they are are awesome people to work with! Amanda and Allison are both amazing!

These red velvet mini cupcakes were a must! The color was a perfect match for these mini cupcake toppers!

I opted to go with simple Mason Jars, red straws, with our themed straw tags. Normally I would decorate the Mason Jars a little more; however they were right in front of the beautiful cake and which I didn’t want to take away from the centerpiece. Plus simple is always more!

We also had red velvet whoopie pies from a local farm stand. The apple punch is Jones Soda and decorated with our water bottle labels.

Remember when I said I wasn’t a photographer. I’m also not a baker! I made the most adorable mini apple pies last year for my sons birthday. Last year the pies came out so full and round. This year they weren’t as perfect, but they were just right for this table. The water bottles are also wrapped in our labels.

This sign is a 5×7 themed personalized sign in a frame I found at Target at one of my 9:30pm random trips!

The banner is my favorite style: flag shaped.

Lastly, our cake! I have some very talented friends who are bakers, but unfortunately they don’t live in NH. BUT that doesn’t stop them from helping me when they can. This 8″ cake was decorated with large rosetta roses and was so amazing that I opted to do a simple cake topper (seen in the picture; blowing in the wind). I used small clothes pins to hold them up and they did!!!

I can’t wait to style the next Apple of Our Eye event!!!
