Last year at this time we were honored to be asked to participate as an auction contributor to support the Signature Chef’s Auction here in New Hamsphire. This fundraiser held in 200 cities assisted March of Dimes raise over $15 million last year to help healthy babies be born.

As some of you may or may not know my son was born 5 weeks early and I too was a preemie baby, so when I was asked to contribute I did not hesitate to donate to this wonderful organization. March of Dimes is such an amazing resource as they “help moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. If something goes wrong, [they] offer information and comfort to families. [….] research the problems that threaten our babies and work on preventing them.”

My son and I fortunately were both healthy and were able to head home after a traditional hospital stay; however we know that not all families with premature deliveries are as fortunate and are faced with, at times, serious situations.” We are thankful to know that March of Dimes is there for these families in their time of need, but also work every day as a support system and research development to help achieve healthy deliveries.

We are pleased to be contributing again this year and hope to make this an annual support.

Here are a few pictures of what the auction winner and I worked on together.
