I debated whether or not to share my resolution list with you in complete length; which in the Cliff Note version is about 3 pages long and the full length a big full 6 pages. All my goals, task lists, and day of schedules always have categories and sub-categories with endless examples. As a business graduate I tend to analyze my lists; especially goals and resolutions. After writing out my goals and resolutions I put them through the “SMART” module; which adds a whole other layer of detail. So fortunately for you I won’t be boring you with my lengthy charts, presentation, and commentary. Although, perhaps you can entertain me by reading my short list of personal and professional goals:
* Be good to myself (get the rest I need, spoil myself as needed, don’t take myself so seriously, etc)
* Continue to put my family first (agree to family vacations, take more family photos, share more of nature and the world with my son, make our next house our home).
* Stay connected with friends (more hand-written notes, more visits and phone/Skype calls).
* Increase Professional Development (build my network, attend a professional conference, take a class, improve my photography ~currently horrendous).
* Continue community involvement both professionally and personally in my direct community, regionally, and nationally (sponsor events, give back to my followers, participate in fundraisers, engage in random acts of kindness).
* Disengage in social media (less Facebook both in my personal and professional life, participate in alternative marketing strategies, live in the moment).
* Investments (make a profit, less unneeded purchases (ex. less twine), make one capital purchase).
Thank you for reading! What do you think? Any similarities? What’s on your list? I’d love to hear from you.
