Summer is here; which means baby showers and baby shower gifts! I have a few to attend this summer and although I honor each family’s registry I also like gifting some of my favorite products. Today I share with you some of my favorite baby shower gift ideas. Some of these would make great group gifts based on price, but others are great additions to something you have already picked out from mommy-to-be registry.

Baby shower Gift guide 2014

1. Bento Mealtime Kit by Skiphop 2. Blessed Nest 3. Sophie the Giraffe 4. Noodle and Boo   5. A&A swaddle 6. Timi & Leslie Diaper Bag 7. Ju-Ju-Be Diaper Bag 8. Pottery Barn Bassinet 9. Boba Baby Carrier 10. Stationery and Wall Art

  1. Bento Mealtime Kit by Skiphop ended up being so convenient and practical. With a newborn you can often forget to eat. When my son was born I found I’d head out for errands and mid way be left starving. With a baby you tend to be restricted to drive-through options; which for me was something I did not want to do. Each morning I packed carrots, hummus, and crackers so it was ready to go! This kit comes with a ice back to keep your food cool on the go!
  2. Bless Nest I purchased one of these mid way through my nursing journey and it changed my life! Made out of organic buckwheat allows the pillow to form and be positioned where you need it for nursing. I had other nursing pillows that didn’t mold and forced baby to a certain position. I love this pillow. I was so happy to find Nini Bambini who make their own version and are so pretty. I believe they custom design them to match your style! I picked out a cute baby elephant pattern and to this day use it to sleep with!
  3. Sophie the Giraffe I think most people who know this awesome giraffe is, so I wont explain too much. What I will say is that it was my son’s favorite first toy and was  amazing way to stimulate his senses. Great travel toy as well and, of course, great for those teething babies.
  4. Noodle and Boo Essential oils are one of the big things talked about lately. This brand is full of all the good stuff leaving out all the things you don’t need out. I was never one who worried too much about what I was putting in my hair, skin, etc, but once I found out I was pregnant I became obsessed about reading labels. I quickly began frustrated with all the extra stuff in products. This is must try.
  5. A&A Swaddle Blankets are just absolutely breathable, soft, and perfect. Go with the full boutique size swaddles versus ones you find in the stores like Taget. Although those are great too they do run smaller. The extra length in the boutique size makes a big difference. I also believe they are a tad softer. Oh and try the bamboo kind…. LOVE.
  6. Timi & Leslie Diaper Bag is not your typical diaper bag. Love that this bag looks like a purse, but practical for carrying all your baby essentials. I even used it as a work/conference bag. No one knew I was carrying my diaper bag!
  7. Ju-Ju-Be Diaper Bag. Yes, I have a second diaper bag option on my list. I am bag obsessed! This brand offers the cutest bags and offer so many inside pockets. We have the be prepared in their retired cobalt blue style! Its one of the bags I still use on overnight trips! They even have a backpack options
  8. Pottery Barn Bassinet is really the most adorable thing I have ever seen. I love that the actual bassinet can be removed and can be carried room to room or placed on the floor. This bassinet was the perfect height for our bed. I could look over and see my son right there. It also offers a cozy atmosphere for little ones who still need the comfort and security of tight living quarters like the womb. Plus cosmetically it’s a beautifully designed bassinet! Such an amazing gift!
  9. Boba Carrier and wrap are both must haves in my book! I love to baby wear and my son loved the comfort and security of skin to skin! This carriers are well designed. Worth checking into. I won’t say much more because I could go on for hours on why I love this carrier. All I’ll say is hands free and ergonomical!
  10. I know I know there isn’t a 10 in the picture. There really could be 20 of my favorite things, but I wanted to limit what I shared because we all have our own favorites and it can be overwhelming trying to find the most perfect gift. I will add though a good stationery set, wall art, newborn print make great gifts once baby is born. We offer custom designs and many ready to purchase option in our shop

Well there you have it… my favorite baby shower gifts! I’d love to hear what your favorites are!
