Are you ready for some Monkey Theme Birthday Party cuteness! We are! And hope you are too, because this weekend a precious little boy celebrated by inviting guests to “swing on by” to celebrate his first birthday! We loved taking on the project of designing his invitations and coordinating decor as part of Custom Delicate Decor Gift Packages as it allowed us to use our die cut creativity side.
Invitations for the Monkey Theme Birthday Party! Monkeys measure approximately 6×6 and we used 6.5×6.5 square envelopes that we have available as a special order. I may offer a tutorial in the future on these little guys came about!

We adore our digital printables and our print + cut designs as much as we adore handcrafting the delicate details of an event. Although, there is a uniqueness about hand crafted decor that is incomparable to that of graphically designed decor. Both are stunning and as we mentioned we love both so very much, but as a projected manager in these settings I appreciate the hand crafted items a bit more because no two pieces can be the same as you can tell from the above photos. Literally my love, sweat, and (at times) tears go directly into these types of projects. Ok, there isn’t that many tears, because I love what I do, but it can be tough ( you get the point). It’s a little more difficult to share proofs of custom design work for hand crafted items to clients because its not until production that there is an actual product to show. Fortunately I have experience with programs that allow me to design digitally before an end product; which is always appreciated by a client.
Back to our monkey business!
I love the idea of using a welcome sign at your front door to greet guests to the party! We used a 3D foam to adhere the monkey for extra dimension.

I love the added detail of centerpiece sticks to match your theme. For all my custom order clients I like to surprise them with a few goodies. This was one of the extras I added to the set because its an easy piece to add to flowers, a vase, boxes, cake, or even the ground.
These guys are so adorable. Favor tags that measure about 3″ with wording on the back ” THANK YOU FOR SWINGING BY MY PARTY!”
Probably my favorite part of this design work are these mini cupcake toppers! They measure about 1.67″ and were a labor of love! It took a ton of calculating to figure out the sizing for each piece and layer!
And last but not least this simple party hat makes for a great prop or detail as the little one takes a bite of their birthday cake. I’ll be honest, more often I skip the hat wearing and leave it as a decor piece because I find that most little ones hate the elastic or ribbon.
