Hello Hello! Hope you are having an eventful summer and enjoying time relaxing and building memories. I am back after  what seems like a quick 3 months to finally share with you our new little one and to offer a quick update on how things are going.

On the morning of April 19th at approximately 1:45am I started feeling off. After a few attempts of going back to sleep I finally decided to wake up my husband to tell him I wasn’t feeling so great. To make a long story short, I headed to the hospital at approximately 3:30am after some convincing by my doctors to get checked. To my surprise I was 6 cm along and Nicholas Adam Gardner was welcomed by 5am.

I am surprised how quickly our family adapted to a family of 4 largely due to keeping our routines, but the ability to be flexible when needed. Having an active 3.5 yr old  sure helps us get out of the house and keep things interesting.  Mason has been taking his Big Brother role seriously by giving plenty of hugs and is our  “Safe Toy Officer.”  I look forward to seeing my boys grow up and witness their relationship grow.

Below are a few photos of our family photos taken 10 days new and our first day out the door with 2 all by myself as my husband joined us between meetings!

As it relates to the business, I have been humbled with your emails asking when I’ll be back taking custom orders and have consulting available again. I’m happy to say our shop is open with available designs made to order and instant download; however I’ll continue to limit custom orders and consulting. I have decided to ease my way back into events and custom orders during Nicholas’ first year. I’d love to be able to give 100% to both my family and business, but the truth is that I’m happiest and do my best work as a mom and designer when I follow my family’s needs as they are.
