Nicholas’ Birth Announcement

During the months leading up to my delivery I dabbled into designing a birth announcement for our new little one along with a few new designs for our shop. I wanted the announcement to be simple and have a timeless design that focused on our baby’s photos. Making the announcement simple allowed me to change the colors very easily once Nicholas arrived (remember we didn’t know if baby was a girl or boy).
  I decided on a belly band to cover the front of the announcement; while displaying Nicholas’ initials with a 2×2 square die cut.

After receiving the photos back from our photographer I couldn’t help by change our design into a booklet fold to be able to showcase a few additional photos. I’m pleased I was able to keep the design simple, while displaying more beautiful photos of our sons with small heartfelt message.
